oh hell this is gonna be hard..

in an order that constantly changes

    1)Work
    2)The Middle
    3)The World You Love
4)Sweetness (thank god for NHL '03 (think it was that), first place I ever heard a JEW song)
top four atm, although most of the futures album gets in there every so often

  • Pain. It is the one that made me like Jimmy Eat World, and is still their best, IMO.

  • 23.... greatest song ever.

also a big fan of for me this is heaven, if you don't don't, lucky denver mint, crush, ten, and my sundown

    where words fail, music speaks...

My fav Jimmy Eat World song is A Praise Chorus.

  • Wow. I can't believe no one on here has mentioned "Goodbye Sky Harbor." "For Me This Is Heaven" and "Just Watch the Fireworks" are amazing songs, hands down, but Sky Harbor is just awesome. As a 16:11 hypnotic reflection, you just can't help but sit back and feel yourself float away. And when they put it on live it turns into a moderately lengthed rock masterpiece with one of the most amazing guitar solos to date.

  • its really hard to pick a favoret, my favoret album is by far Clarity, but for favoret song, I'd have to go with either Lucky Denver Mint, or Crush

  • I'd say my fav is No Sensitivity, but since i like all their songs roughly about the same, this isn't really clear...

Mein Plan beinhaltet Alkohol und Pornographie. (Weitere Informationen auf Anfrage)
  • scatterbrained, i go for no Sensitivity too, i also like your house
    the middle
    sunday

(we should start a worst song too :))

I thought I'd check on iTunes to see which I listen to the most, and it's actually "Just Tonight". Didn't expect that, but I do think it's a great song.

I agree with the person who was talking about "Just Watch The Fireworks" and "For Me This Is Heaven". Just the second half of Clarity in general is amazing I think.

  • I like how Tyrion did it:

    Static Prevails:
    Call It in the Air
Jebediah Split: No Sensitivity (only three to choose from...so I agree)
Clarity: For Me This Is Heaven
    Singles: Untitled
    Bleed American: The Authority Song
    Futures: Work

    Hmm. Table for Glasses.

  • Sweetness, Your House, and Work.

    *shrugs*

I'm something of a JEW newbie, only listened to their stuff for a few weeks... but it kicks ass.

"Nobody likes you, everyone's left you, they're all off without you, having fun!"
  • The Middle
    Your House
    Work
    A Sunday
    Crush

    Freaky

Static Prevails - "In The Same Room"
Clarity - "Just Watch The Fireworks" and "For Me This Is Heaven"
Singles - "Christmas Card" fantastic Emo song! Still...
Bleed American - "My Sundown" - I need you to show me the way from crazy ;(
Futures [Import Bonus Tracks] - "Polaris" - you say that love goes anywhere... and "When I Want" - very kind :)

yes, yes and Table For Glasses !!! Clarity is amazing. I also love "Static Prevails" for interesting/hypnotic sound.
I like to listen these songs before sleeping.

Bleed American is more simple-good-rock album, but there's 2 amazing songs:
"Cautioners" when sings "take your steps away"

and "My Sundown" i need you to show me the way from crazy...

    no one cares...

Hmmm, if I had to pick ONE I think I'd go with Kill, Hear You Me is a close second though...

Very, very hard question. I don't have a specific favorite; if you had asked favorite album, I would have said Bleed American (although Clarity is as good and Futures follows closely), but favorite track...
I guess Lucky Denver Mint, Bleed American, Sweetness, Hear You Me, 23, and Kill would by far be on top, but Jimmy Eat World is too good to be limited to just a few tracks.

definitely has to be no sensitivity and get it faster

  • Even though it's close to impossible to choose just one favourite, if I have to make a choice right now, I have to say

    23

You'll sit alone forever, if you wait for the right time!

    The Middle

At the moment, but other favourites are 23 and Nothing Wrong.

I want to live, and I want to love, I want to catch something that I might be ashamed of.

  • Has to be '23' that song just...woahmg I love it to pieces, so moving. I love the way jeW songs can be interpreted in different ways...and I guess that's why I love them uber much. I'm a newbie by the way-Howdy! Ellie xx
