I've been searching around for a good underground Christian music group to join, to find people who shared similar interests.

Underground Christian music. Out with the mainstream.

Although the bands on Blood&Ink don't do as much touring as they probably should, they're being asked to play numerous fests and big shows across the country which is huge for exposure. They continue getting more and more attention which brings recognition to the label. I'd say Blood&Ink may be pretty small still but is more relevant now than it's ever been. Some of the acts on B&I on the climb are - Dependency, With Increase, Friends, Jawbone, Strengthen What Remains, Thin Ice, Debtor, etc.

Also, I haven't noticed Blood & Ink do much recently at all, to me they've always been a very minor record label. What current artists do they have signed that are making heads turn in the industry?

With Antestor making a comeback and their next release just around the corner, Bombworks is stronger than ever! If they can get more bands like this on their roster, they will do great! Although I was quite sad to see As Hell Retreats go :( I definitely agree about Come & Live!, check out the new Showbread album if you haven't yet!

@mrmichel0927 Not to sound too negative because I'll always support music ministry. I still wouldn't say that ANGR and Bombworks are really making waves in the underground music scene. All were excited when we saw ANGR launch but not a lot has come of it. As Hell Retreats is breaking up now, so there goes a 1/4 of the label. Sleeping Giant only does Scream the Prayer now. For Bombworks, they got a couple acts that have turned some heads like A Hill to Die Upon, but on which I feel they haven't capitalized. I still think B&I and C&L! are the main two working hard at showing the music world the force that Christian music is by signing Christ-centered talented bands, WILLING TO TOUR, & desiring to use the gift of music God gave them. I understand that some bands on labels have obligations or families that gain priority over the music. I totally understand that, but it's the label's job to find bands who are called by Christ to use music to the fullest & get out there. imho

@theunlikelyhero I am currently leader of the Ain't No Grave Records page, they have signed notable bands like Sleeping Giant and As Hell Retreats recently. Bombworks records has mostly Christian bands, although they feature death, black, folk, and thrash more often than hardcore.

Are Blood&Ink and Come&Live! the only Christian labels making waves in the underground music scene right now? I feel like that other Christian labels haven't done anything worth too much mention lately. Makes me want to start one...

@Re-Vital-Eyes - Yeah, Stand Together Fest is Christ-oriented. I think it's almost the entire Blood&Ink Records roster playing, some Facedown bands, Saints Never Surrender reunion, Flatfoot 56, Zao, and some others. It's going to be sick. Only $45 for both days.

I'm not sure if it is Christ orientated... but Stand Together Fest features xLooking Forwardx and Zao. both fantastic bands with their own messages to give. Maybe some of you could check that fest out and some of the bands you don't know :)

I was thinking of hitting up C-Stone this year because The O.C. Supertones, Squad Five-O, FF56, Becoming the Archetype, Plea, HoH, The Scurvies, Standing Small, and The Chariot are playing....but no Facedown or Blood&Ink stage this year? I don't know now. That's a lot of money to want to see nine bands....OH WAIT, I didn't see My Epic was playing. That might've just pushed it into the "worth it" category.
