Description:
Music has an enormous ability to influence and make change happen. Have you noticed how it has affected you over the years?

Music affects how you - and people around the globe - view their life and the world, and it can do so in a way that is helpful or in a way that is less than helpful, in the grand scheme of things. This group is for people who see that and who choose to support music which they think supports the development of consciousness collectively instead of bringing it down.

Also for fans of Ken Wilber and Integral Theory. :)

What kind of music do people with an integral worldview listen to?

Yeah, I've been thinking about this for awhile now. A little example: Let's say you listen to a song (whether on radio, club, pc) many times enough to memorise the lyrics. And then let's say that song's stuck in your head for 3 days straight. I'd guess how you feel and view the world around you is different if that song was happy-go-lucky style with optimistic and positive lyrics, than if you listened to doom metal with lyrics about losing your loved ones and shit like that. Just as negative and positive thoughts affect your state differently, imagine those thoughts are the lyrics repeating in your head. And then add accompanying instrumentals to multiple the effect. That would be like the effect which thoughts have on you, only doubled. At least that would seem logical to me :)

Dope idea. I think this is true, although it's hard to define, when music affects you positively and when it doesn't. For example there are many musicians I listen to just for the lyrics even if the music is bad, and vice versa. I honestly couldn't tell you whether or not any of those affect me in a good way.
