    Any recommendations for the group?

    people posting stuff :)

Coach Finstock: There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
  • Music recommendations? I am looking for something new to listen to these days. Recently I've been mostly listening to the Fleet Foxes, can't recommend them enough! Missed them live here :'(
Just getting into Band of Horses, they're quite good too.
Right now I'm listening to Lykke Li for the first time, and she's sounding impressive!

Anyone got anything else for me?

The Dodos, Cut Copy, Late of the Pier, TV on the Radio and Metronomy have released some of my favourite albums of the year from the indie pop and rock shelf.

    Casio Kids:

I have only managed to listen to two of their songs, but they sound amazing. They are supporting of Montreal at The Button Factory and I am really intrigued. They sound really electro-ey

    Fever Ray:

Most of you may already know this solo project of The Knife's vocalist. It is just impressive!

Underground Railroad. I read in a magazine that they are the best thing that has happened to grunge-pop since the Pixies (???)

Delorean (a band from the Basque Country currently living in Barcelona) has an amazing new EP called Ayrton Senna EP. They got a really good review in Pitchfork as well.

    Highly recommend

We Cut Corners. Saw them at HWCH recently and was blown away. Bought their EP and it's brilliant.

ps I am not in the band and not a mate. Just excited about something fresh on the irish scene.

Some time without any recommendations here; any suggestions, lads?

I would highly recommend you all:

Surfer Blood for anyone who misses the 90s
Local Natives for anyone who liked the Fleet Foxes' album

And then, well, I think you could easily get obsessed with some of the newest albums of a good bunch of deliverers, Owen Pallett, Hot Chip and Beach House are my favourite albums this year, although I'm pretty sure I'm not on my own there. :)

Oh and if I were you I would look out for Best Coast, their debut should come out soon and their collection of noisy surf pop tunes is just irresistible!
