Allright, here's the deal. They became sellouts? They did major change in their style?

If you answered yes to even one of those questions, then this is the group your looking for.

Allright, here's the deal. They became sellouts? They did major change in their style?

If you answered yes to even one of those questions, then this is the group your looking for.

So what I mean is:

1) If you come sellout for just money, for an example Slipknot cleaned their lyrics, its not good. If suddenly people starts to like your stuff, well there's nothing wrong.

2) I don't mean that bands have to make same old stuff all over again all the time. What I mean is that bands just can't change something what is the part of they'r soul. Band shouldn't forget what they were. With this I mean R.E.M. and P.O.D. for an example who took the part of the music what made them good away. R.E.M. made a step back with the new album which is good.

Enjoy your stay in the group.

Trying to get/find some cool group picture.

Also, DJ Shadow's music SUCKS now. He needs to stay away from hip-hop. But Entroducing.... damn, what a record.

omg a group full of crybabies...why do you care if some band changed their style? why do you care if they sell out (in your opninion, not mine...imo every musician can do what he/she wants to do)? if you dont like them anymore, dont listen to them. I still dont get the point of selling out..... popular music does not implicate bad music. and yes: This group could easily be called...."I Only Liked Bands Because They Weren't Popular...But Now That They Are Popular, I Can't Listen To Them Anymore" [2]

FrankyRey, I understand your point as I too am not fond of indie music snobs, but actually most of the top artists on my chart—and here I am hardly alone—are wildly popular. They just never stopped making good music after reaching a certain level of success.

Liz Phair is the living, breathing embodiment of a sell out. Indie rock bitch goddess turned Sheryl Crow wannabe. I can think of no greater example of an artist flat out saying "FUCK YOU" to their long time fans than Phair's insipid 2003 self titled album. Farcical at best, a mockery at worst.

I don't if any of you listen to Rusko, but his new album blows in my opinion. I want that hard shit not the soft poppy rythm. It is nice to relax to and a few good songs but he named it O.M.G. and more than half the songs are feeaturing singers. wtf. If you dont know him and are interested he does dubstep. check out his old shit then look at his new album....Most of these bands up here suck anyways, with a few exceptions. (IMO)
