  Talking exclusively about bands that look "bad" is just as bad as liking bands that look good: It's paying attention to something totally irrelevant to sound for stupid social reasons. Pitying a band with a ridiculous image is musical affirmative action, and it will make you utterly incapable of promoting music for legitimate reasons, or even being honest with yourself.
