  Got myself a Zen, and what I like about it is that I can simply drag and drop the music into it through Windows Explorer, no need to connect it to Winamp or iTunes or whatever.

  Everything Apple makes are wildly overpriced pieces of crap. Get an Insignia. I bought one for like 45 dollars and it has outlasted like 6 ipods (all of which just all of the sudden stopped working) that I've owned. I've had the Insignia for about 5 years now, still going strong.

  The iPod is nothing more than an over glorified WalkMan. All we need is a small stick a plug for ear buds and an antenna that can transfer media over wifi and mobile traffic (MoIP) so that you can access your personal media no matter where it is stored, be it your home server or on one that belongs to someone else...

  "fashion trend" lol'd. no one buys an iPod to be"fashionable"... In fact, it's cool and hip to NOT have one. Vinyl or FLAC or some shit like that would be more appropriate for that.
