• FREE breakcore releases

Okay, i think we really need a thread to collect free releases, no matter where they're from as long as it's really free, not pirated.

    It goes like this:

you post the name of the release, artist and so on, the link and a lil description of what to expect (so we get no bad surprises ;) )

i'll download it to see if the link works and then add it to the list.

    please report dead links

    iTAL tEK - Terminator 2

I'll be honest, i dont like most of iTAL tEK's stuff. it's plain boring idm-like stuff with lame beats and cheesy melodies. his dubstep is half-assed and lacks power... but this breakcore banger really kicks ass! full of samples from the movie, Terminator 2 has blasting breakcore that is chaotic and harsh, but not ear-splitting. my favourite track "skynet" sounds like enduser, but still unique. all in all, that record is innovative and quite unusual, and i really enjoyed it.

Ladyscraper - The Death Of Mary Poppins

Probably the hardest breakcore I can listen to, and it is the album that got me into breakcore, after a friend sent me this link a while back. It's just huge hard beats, nearly each track starting with a stupid sample, just to get your mind back on earth. If you've never heard Ladyscraper before this is the album to start with :D

  • but i must add that ladyscraper might not be a very good thing to begin with, there aren't many things even remotely as brutal. i guess it might scare some ppl ;)

but yeah, when we're talking about mindfucking releases i got this one:

Loli Ripe - Little Sweet Dolores

Harsh breaks that perforate your eardrums like machinegun bullets and little japanese girls singing, with a lot of stupid samples added. this is pure madness, ranging from happy hardcore over breakcore to harsh noise, this album is one of the most funny breakcore releases out there. from what i can guess, the theme of the album is pedophilia, but who cares anyway. i highly reccomend this one.

  • Control Freak - Hell Hounds

woah, this one's underground! to be honest, i did'nt know that there's even the possibility of only 3 last.fm users listening to such a monstrous release. it's completely free, 320kbps and sounds great. it's harsh as fuck, not in the "speed it up like no good"-way but more like "i'll blast your ears away with wave after wave of horror orchestra amenbreak subbass inferno" there's a remix of Chaos Royale included, he doesn't do breakcore, but if you're into harsh stuff you definetly need to check out his dancehall/rhythmic noise tracks. the link to his label is on his last.fm profile.

DJ DIABETES - Glasgow (album promo)
(just click the above link to the album)

Underground? DJ Diabetes has 102 plays scrobbled.
It is quite amateur music as he is only a young producer, but it is quite good. This promo isn't that hard, but still it's pretty cool. Only 4 tracks, but it's worth a download. Also he's a nice lad :D

Wacky swedish breakcore/gabber/raggajungle with loads of silly cartoon samples and the likes.

I'm honestly not one to describe music, I apologize for the short description but I'm not a breakcore EXPERT or part of this group, for that matter.

^ scratch the last bit, joined anyways

    Highly recommended though!

  • i must say, XÄCKSECKS is really killer! i expected it to be like most other dqn-related artists, some kind of musical joke, funny but not more, but he's doing really awesome breakcore. the samples range from sped-up lyrics that sound like the chipmunks over grindcore to hiphop and cartoons (even donald duck is sampled). sometimes the beats are a little repetitive, but most of the time it's very creative and surprising. i also hear influences from cardopusher and, of course, loli ripe.

Nero's Day at Disneyland - grievances and dead malls

    Look, I don't even know how to begin describing this. It's a rainbow-ridden wonder-ride through unicorn rape-land.

No, I'm not good at describing music either, but you'll understand when you hear it :(

Cock Rock Disco's got a lot of good stuff, but I'm especially thankful for this Vexkiddy release. Check it!

And also, Ladyscraper is definitely not the artist to start on if you've never listened to breakcore, haha.

raggacore fury by xäcksecks and tarmskrap. i must say, i like xäcksecks' part of the split more, so it's an awesome addition if you run out of fresh stuff by him. just like i did.

  • Pyongyang Hardcore Resistance

this is not the best breakcore around but has an interesting story behind it... plus if your talking about "undergroud" stuff its not exactly mainstream... musicaly its basicaly really hard speedcore with crusty breaks and samples of north korean pop music

    Anti-Kati - Tape

For all you fun-loving breakcore fans out there....
It's not harsh breakcore, just stupid/fun glitchiness, it's an alright listen though.
I'd skip the first track, if I was you.
"Dude, The IDM Scene Is So Gay" is a definite favourite from this album.

    "no time to waste"

I like the first tracks of Eraplee Noisewall Orchestra's The Statement album.
It has this kind of acid metal core spirit I like so much. You can download it
    here for free

In the same direction, but a little bit rougher, are the mixes and tracks of Fexomat, checkout the live sets and tracks on his homepage.

  • Can really recommend music from Division 13 (http://d13.lowres.com/library.html) especially Bombardier's mix of Excommunicated. You can find it at the bottom of the off-site link.

'Life sux and then you die.'
  • thank you, thank you thank you people for this fucking amazingly great topic

  • i second that statement, that's an awesome amount of links we got here!

Mainly hardcore stuff but the Michael T. Roper release is some interesting breakcore-esque stuff.

Noisy harsh anime lolibreakspeedpedocore. Probably the best artist anywhere ever. Lots of tracks out and they're all great.

Joss Weightman has some nice breakcore stuff as well.

The latest release on Structural Damage Records is Stazma’s Car Crash Soundtrack 5-tracker. Breakcore doesn’t come much sicker (or free-er) than this!

Here's all the core you want. Breakcore isn't that easy to find on the web, but this site really helped. Nice group by the way.
