Nobody should tell you what you have to listen to, what sucks and what not. Taste is a personal thing. If you like a song, it's because that song makes you feel something. It moves you. That's it....

So you're tired of people bashing artists in their shoutboxes - and bullying you about what is music and what is not? Join us! We have a very active message board and a great and friendly community with a wide range of music preferences!

Nobody should tell you what you can or cannot listen to.
Nobody should tell what sucks and what not, cause nothing sucks: taste is a personal and subjetive thing.
If you like a song, it's because that song makes you laugh, cry, dance, jump, shout...etc. That song makes you feel something. It moves you. That's it, that's what matters.

We are another "hate" group, but we actually don't hate anyone. Look at our ostrich pouting: isn't she cute? ;)

How can you judge a band by its fan base? You can't do that, or shouldn't, because music is music. Everything from jazz to rap to pop is music, and just because you don't like it doesn't constitute the fact that it isn't music. Most music snobs are lonely, afraid and have low self-esteem. They seem to find comfort in flaming the musical preferences of others and spewing verbal feces all over the interwebs due to aforementioned self-esteem issues. It really shouldn't have such a huge impact on your everyday life If someone doesn't like what you like.. rant finished :)

In defense of the obscure music game though, they are pretty tongue in cheek - the goal as I saw it is also to actually finding new stuff to listen to, which is fun in itself. Kicking members is their way of keeping score in their "game", everyone is let back in once a new round starts. I'm sure you can find groups that are a lot more snobby than that if you try :)
