"Far more evolved than the constraints of jazzy noise or synth-screamo, as bands such as "Genghis Tron" or "Cutting Pink with Knives". Rolo Tomassi leap confidently from genre to genre. Moments of oddly-timed chaos flow comfortably into sanguine prog-rock workouts, otherworldly, alien noises sit happily alongside bass-led doom riffs.     I saw them on the 13th at Pourtsmouth wedge supporting BRS. Lovely people too, signed my album. Asked them about music influences. I guessed Dillinger, Mars Volta and Mr. Bungle. Apparently, only the first two because "Bungle are a little too zany." You learn something new every day =] Album is fantastic. I wish I'd listened sooner, I might have appreciated their already orgasm inspiring set even more. x
