"Brutal Prog" (not math/post/instrumental/brutal prog, but "without" a genre, if possible)

The purpose here is to list nice bands or something like that. Listen to these:

    --- > http://www.myspace.com/basilicaproject < --- ( Basilica / BASILICA™ ?)
    --- > http://www.myspace.com/xhohx < --- ( XHOHX )

They're very different, but do you get some of the idea? Any recommendations?

    Höyry-Kone (also slower basic prog)
Happy Family (maybe a bit more jazzy fuse)
Naked City (for example "torture garden". but not so "purely" new mix)
Ruins (more noise rock, but see their album "Symphonica", it's just brutality)
Yowie (i took up this from the group mentioned next)

I'm not totally sure about brutal prog groups connections, though ive heard them all. Still, I think they sound too clear and math/post/instrumental: By the End of Tonight, Hella, Upsilon Acrux, Cheval de Frise, The Flying Luttenbachers, Sleeping People, Ahleuchatistas, Lightning Bolt, Tera Melos, Orthrelm.
But tell me if I'm wrong. Yowie is very similar and for example Lightning Bolt got heavier sound, but I somehow see it more outsgrindide this genre.

So, genre is not what we're looking for. Unless Xhohx and Basilica are some kind of grindcore. Though, they aren't. Xhohx is more avant-prog and Basilica is more progressive metal, or something. It's clear they're not either. Problem is that there's too much music in the world that is clearly some genre. (But... So, also experimental grindcore, death metal etc suits here very well. And everything, if you see it fair)

There's much brutality in avant-jazz & -prog, but if you have some favourite songs or artists that sound brutal, so let us hear.
