Hymie's Basement is a collaboration between Anticon's
Jonathan "Yoni" Wolf
(Why?, Reaching Quiet, cLOUDDEAD, Greenthink, Object Beings, Stuffed Animals and Madtoons Beat Orchestra)
&
Andrew Broder
(Fog and Heatdeath).

The band released one self titled album on Lex Records in 2003, and self-released a live album in 2004.
Combining elements of hip-hop, folk and indie, the two men have created a superb "thinking man’s" melodic hip hop record.
