A gathering place for people who believe in people. We seek to make decisions through reasoned compassion, not dogmatic faith. We seek to mix a healthy skepticism with a practical concern for humanity's well-being. And we seek to work together to make the world a better place, rather than relying on imaginary friends to do it for us.

Oh, and we like music too.

Freethinkers, naturalists, atheists, agnostics, scientific skeptics, secularists, and all other interested parties are welcome!

In my opinion, the ideals of humanism is something to strive to. While misanthropy, as pessimistic it may sound, is a more realistic view. Because people are too weak, maybe not everyone, but the majority. I myself; am a humanist but cannot trust humans with absolute certainty. (2) I completely agree.
