  Movie needs more love, it's the best nerd flick ever. I'm not a vinyl fan but as a movie buff I can totally relate! Japanese imports, complete lack of respect for people who know less, large collections, it's all the same!

  I love the high fidelity book. I guess the movie wasn't that good comparing to the book, but, doesn't this always happen? About a boy movie was pretty boring.. What about a long way down book?

  wastingthedawn, I think about a boy was better a movie than high fidelity (deeper and truer to the feeling). But I think the opposite about the books. Maybe high fidelity was harder to adapt? I must buy Slam. Anyone read it?

  best nick hornby adaptation to screen.. avoid about a boy adaptation staring hugh grant... it has nothing to do with the original feeling of the book..
