Help! I'm using herrie 2.2, and herrie -v says "Support for AudioScrobbler: yes", but herrie doesn't scrobble anything, and doesn't ever write anything to the scrobble queue file I set. I can scrobble just fine from other clients, so it's not my internet connection or anything obvious... and I used the md5sum of my last.fm password, like the manual says... I'm stumped! Anyone else have this problem?

I'm trying to run herrie 2.2 from the ubuntu karmic package. I get a "Sample rate or amount of channels not supported" error and nothing plays. Any known solutions for this?

Great player :) If you have a problem that herrie takes 30%-40% from your CPU try compile herrie with using OSS (not ALSA). It works for me. (Ubuntu 9.04)

Nice small piece of software, although too little formats are currently supported. Will try write support for something in near future :< Also some things uncompartible with me :)

herrie is most likely the best mp3 player but is there any particular reason it does not have a shuffle play feature? "randomize play list" just won't do it.

strange. herrie is great. the problem is that it takes between 35-40% of the cpu on my machine while playing mp3 using alsa (or pulse). anyone got a suggestion how to fix it? getting herrie to work fine on my debian will be sweet.

When the site indicates you are listening with Herrie, it links to http://g-rave.nl/projects/herrie/ which is forwarded to http://80386.nl/projects/herrie/ and which in broken... Should be corrected in order to better promote this wonderful player! :)

The next release of Herrie, 1.9, will include support for the new AudioScrobbler 1.2 protocol! I'm also planning on adding `Now playing' support.
