This group is for all of you listeners here on LastFM who don't listen to music just because its trendy to have it listed in your charts. You don't define yourself by the music you listen...you are not an emo, punk, dead-head, rude-boy, etc...

You love music so much it simply becomes a part of yourself and is the core of your soul. Such dedication cannot be honored by trivial labels and trendy clothing.

This is a forum for users who can listen to their favorite album on repeat for hours on end....The music we listen to has quality, something special about it that will it stand the test of time.

Anyone who truly loves music can find something to love in ALL genres.

THIS ISN'T A GENRE SPECIFIC GROUP!!! We welcome all music lovers, as long as quality comes over quantity and you don't copy paste your tastes from scenesters or popular music outlets (ahem...MTV, Rolling Stone, or Pitchfork).

No poseurs, scenesters, or annoying emo kids allowed.

    I went to Chicago last weekend to see Jessie Micheal's new band Classics of Love. If you don't know who Jessie is you should check out his stuff, he was the lead singer of Operation Ivy and Common Rider. His new band was amazing, it was so cool to see one of my musical heroes preform live. He even talked to us afterwords and autographed our albums, He really cares about his fans.

    What a great idea for a tattoo! That lyric always resonated with me, that's why I decided to call this group that name. I started listening to The Velvet Underground in high school and it changed my life:)
