Best Heavy Metal Solo

  • Best Heavy Metal Solo

Well here you can say what yu want on your favorite metal solos :)

Mine is, ofcourse, Stairway to heaven. I know that Led Zeppelin themselves aren't a completely metal band, but they influenced almost all metal acts (almost as influential as Black Sabbath among heavy bands).

I chose this becasue this whole song is like a subliminal materpiece. You don't knoiw what you like about it but you love it and are addicted :P.

    So what's yours?

    I don't really know, I have a few favourite solo's.

I loved the solo to Walk, but then again that's because it was the first solo I learnt on guitar.

  • mr.crowley, the trooper, crazy train.. etc. Randy is the best guitar player in whole universum. Dimebag rocks. So does zylde. My favourite besides of Randy is Wildchild. He´s amazing. He made me to play. Hate me is a good example

  • Gary Moore has cooked up some amazing solos in his career, just remember the one he did on Out in the Fields.

KRYTEN: And there are no others who've shared moments of intimacy with him?
LISTER: Only one. But she's got a puncture.
  • Fade to black - metallica is the best song in the world and has the best guitarsolo too!

Iron Maiden - Powerslave (main riffs get boring after awhile but the solo is unbeleiveable)
    Pantera - Floods
Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing & Machine Gun (not really metal but who cares)

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

There's bound to be tons of others, but one that springs to mind is the solo in Keys To The Kingdom by Motörhead (its off their Inferno album, released in 2004). Not all that long, but it really fits well into the song. I always look forward to that track when listening to the album cause of that solo.

  • well it's not realy heavy metal, but i think the last solo in November rain by Guns 'N' Roses is the Very best solo on earth!!

... Do I regret? Not a single moment
    Will I ever repent?

And you may say that I have lost to a better man
And well, this may be true, I cannot protest or lie
Yet maybe one who did not dare to be wrong or even...to be right.

To those who did not dare to sing out of tune
    Or sing a different song
To march to the beat of a different drum
And speak the truths others fear
Just give me one thing to live, or die for. ...

Moje individualita je přinejmenším stejně individuální, jako kterákoli jiná individualita, tak sakra proč si připadám tak jedinečnej?
