    Shows a link to Encyclopaedia Metallum artist profile (metal-archives.com) on Last.fm "metal artist" and group pages. (Multilanguage)

    Known Issues
    Sometimes metal-archives uses Google engine to respond search requests.
    So at this period you may see the script link "@Encyclopaedia Metallum" above some rock bands, too. Such as King Crimson. By clicking the link you may get the bands who cover King Crimson works such as Asgaroth or something. Also you may see the link above some rock bands group.
    As a whole the script page fetch method will look for "Not Found" terms instead of exact band names.

    - The ability to fetch results from metal-archives search engine.
    - Working with last.fm metal artist groups like this.
    - Showing a preloader image while fetching results from metal-archives. (Ignored)
    - Working with other last.fm sites. (.pl .ru etc.)
    - To be compatible with metal-archives Google search.
    - Support for the new last.fm!
    - To increase the performance..
    - The option to work on every last.fm page where "metal" artist link is found.

  • Neat! I had to go look at your profile to find a band to test this script on. Not much of a metalhead myself. The only thing I find odd about this script is that it adds that link to ALL artist pages whether they're metal artists or not. I don't know about that! Added to the overview anyway, thanks! :)

    metal-archives, is supporting a variety of genres such as metal subgenres, ambient, folk, neofolk and so on. So it will be difficult to find out whether the artist is available on metal-archives.com or not. And I think there's no way to fetch result from metal-archive.com search engine.

    There's a Firefox extension called "Last Metal Archives" which adds metal-archives link next to all artist names on every page of last.fm. But M letter links in long columns makes no sense, I think.
    In next versions the script may have an option to do this in a smarter way.
