Glitch Hop. A hip hop/idm hybrid.

Glitch hop is a relatively new musical genre, obviously derived from hip hop and IDM. The music is marked by a hip hop style framework, falling into a much slower tempo than most IDM. Including glitchy, twitchy beat programming using short samples to make clicks and drills, glitch hop's "nerdified drums" use circuit bending and cut up vocals to induce nodding of the head.
Also known click hop, blip hop, downbreaks and break hop, perhaps the most prominent producers of this genre include (but will give you a more comprehensive list!) Boreta, Cacheflowe, Dabrye, edIT, Flying Lotus, The Great Mundane, HipGnosis, Hudson Mohawke, J Dilla, Lukid, Machinedrum, Michna, Ooah, Prefuse 73, and Samiyam.
