Description:
This group (sponsored by Philips) is all about freedom and expressing what it means.

Join other Last.fm users tagging music as 'freedom' and contribute to the world's biggest music quilt!...

Express what you mean by freedom and help create the world’s biggest music quilt. Feel free to join the group and start tagging!

It’s simple: tag any music on Last.fm that best defines freedom as you see it. What’s tagging? You can tag anything you want. It doesn’t matter. It’s all about people coming together to express themselves. Find out what other people have tagged as “freedom”.

The end goal is to create the world’s largest freedom quilt. Each time an artist, album, or track is tagged “freedom” the artist image or album art is added to the quilt. Over time we create a dynamic and 24/7 snapshot of what freedom means to you.

Experience with the Philips Wireless Headset

Want to enjoy more freedom wherever you go? First, set your ears free. Listen to the tracks on the freedom quilt via a wireless Bluetooth connection. No need to sort out messy or tangled cables – just relax and hear the music play. In the park, on your bike, in the train or at the beach, let your Philips Wireless Headset invisibly connect you to all those glorious sounds. Find out more about the new Philips Wireless Headset.

Help freedom grow!

The more music you tag, the bigger the freedom quilt grows. So tell your friends about this group and encourage them to tag their own favourite freedom music too!

The Opus Interactive Audio Codec is a free successor to MP3, Vorbis, AAC, and SILK, and saves on disk space and physical travel.

Freedom is the freedom to say "fuck" and enjoy obscene content. As long as you don't hurt others, say by dubious wars, it's all right.

"Experience with the Philips Wireless Headset Want to enjoy more freedom wherever you go?" Hahahaha... I want to be FREE from such commercialized obscenity as Philips "sponsoring" and selling "freedom" to the people! What a classic example of the empty spectacle!

To all the independent artist on Last.fm _ Free For Free _ "Regarding the announcement by Last.fm to transform their site into a pay service we believe that this decision needs to be modified in a few points. Our proposal can be summed up in just a few points: 1 - Tracks that are offered free by their legitimate owners can be listened to in full by everybody: paying users and non-paying users. 2 - Free tracks are those tracks which, apart from being available for full streaming and/or free download, do not create any form of royalties for the author. 3 - Users who are also artists and who offer their tracks for free, as in the preceding point, automatically have the right to listen to an equivalent number of pay tracks as the number of listens that they have received as an artist without paying anything. ... Indeed, it is. But at least I consider it quite hopeful that this shoutbox is full of posts by people who will not sell their freedom to a multinational major company.
