Machine tag for Artist ?

Is there a normalised artist machine tag ?
something like "lastfm:artist=Artist name" same would go with lastfm:band etc .... , these machine tags would link to last.fm's artist page.

Maybe I should start using it on flickr and also post the idea on one of flickr's forums ?

Thoughts, Ideas ?
