  Seeing him playing live against the Spurs right now, and what I've seen of him in other matches, I don't think we're missing much, and as said 10m is good money. Getting Jack Rodwell sent off for nothing yesterday in the derby was a much bigger miss.

  I was gutted at first, but at 29 and being injury prone £10m is good money. Have to wait and see how these lone signings do. Overall we have a strong squad and good youngsters coming thorugh. I believe we will need a striker in january though.

  Any views on Arteta going? Start of the transfer window I thought 5 players could go (Yakubu, Yobo,Billy, Anichebe and Arteta) without damaging the squad to much. Obviously I hoped we would get more players in. I think we did well getting £10m for Arteta. Past his best, not played well for two years, can't get the ball past the first man at corners and not great at free kicks either. Wether the money goes to the bank or is used in january/next summer's window I think we made a good deal.
