Eric Turner is an American singer/songwriter and teacher living in Sweden. He is currently lead singer of the band 'Street Fighting Man'. He wrote the song 'Written in the Stars' and is featured in it as well as the music video.
The idea for Street Fighting Man was born between long-time friends Adel Dahdal and Eric Turner in 2005, but it wasn't until the end of 2006 that the band finally began to take shape. In 2007 the band played a host of shows at such Stockholm establishments as Mosebacke, Landet and Trädgården and released their first single "Raise It". Except for performances at the Peace & Love and Rookie festivals in 2008, the band has remained relatively quite over the past year while working on their debut album which is slated for release in the autumn of 2009.
With their unique brand of American tinged rock that infuses Turner’s gospelesque vocals with lyrics that dish up strong critiques on the state of the modern world, and a stage presence of seasoned professionals this is a band that promises not to stay unknown for long.
