• I do not beliéve it!

    Hi everyone

Just been looking around for some ammunition. Guess what? You can read this on http://www.last.fm/about: UN-BE-LIE-VA-BLE!

"Luckily, these days it's about letting people choose the music themselves (...) Last.fm has always been about making music culture more democratic: everyone listening to music how they want to, when they want to. Without a middle man making your decisions for you."

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!

    Any comments???

LOL. I've just quoted the same sentences in my journal!

I personally feel that they have gone very far. I'm intrigued to ask any staff member about what "democratic music culture" meant in 2004 and it means now in 2009, and what is the difference between having a middle man and being a proxy for the middle man. Though, my curiosity comes mainly from socio-linguistic point of view. ;-)

Equal rights for last.fm members - I believe that giving equal access to diverse cultures from more nations contribute to quality within the last.fm community and library, and quality in my life.
