Godflesh is very relevant to this group, I think. The group is really influential, even though they still haven't got the attention they truly deserve.

Delia Derbyshire is relevant to this group for sure.

George Byron or Mary Shelley perhaps?

I thought about Klaus Nomi at first but he was not English at any point.

    Oh, and Marty Feldman.

Billy Childish and Joe Meek should be there too!

Hurrah! Does Oscar Wilde count as English? He went to Oxford and lived here... I love him!

Ah sure, Wodehouse! I thought about him already but wasn't able to find him here... but maybe I was just too deranged then. I'll add him at once. And by the way: If someone else has any more ideas for our artist connections-> shout it, open a thread, drop me a line or try to send it to me via telepathy. There are still so many eccentrics missing...

What a bally bright group here chums :) Another eccentricity, P.G. Wodehouse!

Yes... of course... the "tea problem" is still unsolved, I know. I'm working on it... some day you all will be able to order an exclusive, highly scientific and awfully expensive whatsit at this place, that you just need to plug into your computer et voilà - finest Earl Grey will pour out of your monitors! Then we'll have a tea party.

What about tea? *sniff* PG Tips? Anyone? Anywhere?

Welcome Inertia_90! If you mean the pics below the group-banner: That is our "top-albums" chart, it changes every week... and sometimes there happen to be neither "english" nor "eccentric" things. We seem to be rather cosmopolitan fortunately. Toodle Pip!

MGMT are not English, so they can't be English eccentrics. But neat group nonetheless.

♫ At the time of writing this, Tony Penultimate is not listed as a connected artist to the 'pataphysics group. Artist connections are made via suggestions in our shoutbox therefore ♫ You are warmly invited by heart and absence to examine, cement and thermally augment the currently euphoric and estrus 'pataphysics group ♫

Unique to this Group's charts: Althea & Donna. This makes me and my khaki suit smile :-)) I was always convinced they were singing about car-keys.....

A delightful little group. Paradoxically I have joined a group that would have me as a member. Love and snuff boxes to you all. Pip pip. N x

I think we should add British Sea Power to the connected artists :) Any band who plays gigs in a lighthouse, a fortress on the Sussex coast, the Natural History Museum and at the Czech Rep Embassy in London is worthy of inclusion......
