    Any new songs/groups that you have discovered so far from this?

    One of the things that I have noticed is the number of groups that I would normally not listern to for whatever reason. So of them I'm really starting to get into.

    Has anyone else had something like this happen to them? If so, which groups?

    I must admit that I've never listened to a Monty Python song before, but Galaxy Song is great. :) Also, System of a Down is one that I don't usually listen to but I like (Though I've been liking groups like that more recently).

  • I've never really listened to Maroon 5 before, but once I pay off my 40-dollar fine at the Library (Don't ask), I'm probably gonna check out some of their stuff.

    That is, if the library doesn't have "shoot-to-kill" orders out for me.

    Whoah, $40, that's harsh! Mind you, with the amount of textbooks I generally have out, I get a £2 ~ $4 fine for one day overdue.

    I tried listening to the station of someone who posted in my shoutbox, and discovered that there's some good gothy music out there.

    Yeah, DragonForce and Lost Horizon. I know them by name but not by song, and they sound good. When i have the chance and the money, i'll be sure to pick them up in my favorite store in Amsterdam (Same store where i buy all my anime).

    And my thanks to the person that has Judith by A Perfect Circle. That song is the best. I only know it from the Olin AMV, but it really is great, although i keep forgetting to buy that CD.

  • I've learned about many, many new artists from last.fm. The 'similar artists' search is a great way to find new bands, as is the recommendations page. I use them whenever I get bored with my music lineup.

  • Actually, I've gotten my entire family hooked on Carbon Leaf... never heard of them before I started listening to EGS Radio...
