Am I an Ectophile?

Just wondering, because I hear the word "ectophile" tossed around a lot on the web, and it's often applied to most of my favorite artists: Dar Williams, The Nields, Vonda Shepard, Indigo Girls, Sarah McLachlan, Vienna Teng, and Rachael Sage (the latter two I discovered on last.fm.) However, I'm really familar with Happy Rhodes (yet) but I do plan to check her out. So, Ectophiles, take a look at my music profile. Do you think my music taste is ectophilic?

Sweetheart! Being an ectophile about judging your taste in music or someone else's based on ecto-content. You don't have to listen to Happy to like ecto, either. I didn't listen to her for a long time - granted, this was out of sheer unavailability - but I definitely love Kate Bush and stuff like that. If you really want to know, then I say sure! But really, it's just about finding new and nifty music. Are you a member of the mailing list?

I wondered the same thing, so I decided to test it on that group thing:

Only 67%. Guess I'm not quite an ectophile, though I do have ectophilic tendencies.

I've always wondered about this group. Just joined and did the test. It appears mine's high at 77.84%! I'm an ectophile! Yayy!

fitting in

I have such an eclectic taste in music, it seems, that I never entirely fit in anywhere. Mine is 46.75% for this group. Not sure what that means, if anything. It is just a number.

It says i've got a 75.58% preference, and that I do fit in but I don't know what it means though. I'm a loyal Kate Bush fan, and love Vienna Teng too, and am part of the Ectophiles' Mailing List, so yeah....
