    Pretty quiet in here. Moved to Abu Dhabi from Manchester about a year ago and, although I knew not to expect much, I am still a bit depressed by the almost complete lack of live music that does not involve Bon Jovi covers. Looking for any sign of a critical mass in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

    Hey, I live here in Dubai and I'm just saying that this place needs good music. The radio here sucks and doesn't give credit to the artists themselves. Every single song that comes on turns out to be overplayed. 'Check Yes Juliet' and 'That's What You Get' used to be my favourite songs but because they've played them too much I'm sick of them. Follie a Deux didn't even come out yet and they're playing 'I Don't Care' over and over again. It ruins the excitement of the CD coming out in December.
