The only way one band could possibly be 'better' than one band, is if the band that's not as good as the other entitled band copies all of their music without even using instruments! And then that would be irrelevant too, since there's always a band that someone likes...ALWAYS! So how about we all agree to disagree, because this IS a Dream Theater 'group', and we're here supporting DT, for the time being anyways...and I think it should be strictly a 'Yes' or 'No' answer, since most of the people on here are just going on gut instinct, not proven science or even using the process of deduction to observe a band, than more than people who write stuff then put music to it..

I think that comparing bands is like comparing apples to oranges (sorry for the cheesy, cliche'd analogy)...but bands are more than just the people that they're made up of and from..they're a mindset, since there has to be a multitude of people on the same thought pattern to even consider a band and all the inner working of a band, and then there's so much that goes into managing, writing, producing touring that it makes something about a band unique...Then they're classified into genres (which is complete bullshit, because music shouldn't be judged, or disliked, it should merely be listened to and enjoyed by the listeners...) And people on here are saying that Opeth, Dream Theater, Tool, as well as other bands I'm not going to name, are better/worse... I have something for you.... Who cares?
