Anneke on the "Addicted" album is some of the best Anneke vocals I've heard since "Nighttime Birds" from her The Gathering days..[2]. Hearing her in full unrestrained glory on hyperdrive! was simply euphoric. Reminded me a lot of "On Most Surfaces", when you get the impression that she nearly gave herself a hernia. Such conviction and emotion without compare. This equals dream collaboration no. 1. Now, if she can put pen to paper with Mr Cavanagh the world will collapse under the weight of this awesomeness, and ill die a happy man D.

Anneke on the "Addicted" album is some of the best Anneke vocals I've heard since "Nighttime Birds" from her The Gathering days.. I say that not because her voice regressed all the way through "How to Measure a Planet"- "Home." But because TG alternated styles and feel in '99 with "How to Measure a Planet." It's absurd reading how they started off as "death metal" and toured with Morbid Angel. Back to my original point (oppsie!) hearing Anneke on the "Addicted" album was like a dream. I'm in love with the album now. Odd to have gotten into this before fully appreciating other Townsend projects. He's quite a character. (:

From an acoustic set - Untitled new song + Coast, Kawaii, Radial Highway -- Check out the other songs from that set, they're acoustic versions of Ki, Lady Helen, Quiet Riot, Terminal, Ih Ah, Sister and Solar Winds. :-) Ghost is going to be great.
