    Grip -> Easytag -> Amarok

    It's my path for encoding everything and anything.
    I should say that I use Grip for a long time and feel at ease with it, never look for something new/different since then.

  • ....

    Tagging with Kid3.

  • Another Grip -> Easytag -> XMMS/Amarok

    I have grip using cdparanoia and LAME 3.98...just switched from ogg for practical purposes (Zen Stone Plus 2gig player).

    If you're not a part of the problem are you absolutely certain that you've been paying attention?

  • Kid3 && K3B

    Kid3 is great and K3B even better!

    Me volví loco con este lugar.
  • Soundjuicer --> Picard --> Sonata

    Wherever you go, there you are.
  • I'm ripping with Sound Juicer, and I'm tagging and listening with AmaroK. :)

    I don't rip. For me is faster downloading in V0 than ripping and converting.

    I use abcde also, but I've a question for others that use it. What the hell do you do when it comes up with multiple inexact matches? I keep trying to find a way to choose one of them, but it just sort of kills my terminal, and I can't type anything. I tried using grip for a bit, but it just rips and encodes a CD, and then starts ripping it again instead of ejecting it.

    Asunder, Brasero, EasyTag

    soundconverter + LAME is also useful.

  • Morituri. It's the easiest thing I have ever used.

    If I rip a less common CD that isn't automatically tagged by it (via Musicbrainz) I use the built-in tagging features of DeaDBeeF or Exaile.
