Least favourite Bowie track

  • Least favourite Bowie track

All that "favourite-this", "favourite-that" stuff is a bit twee. Let's shake things up a bit ... what's your least favourite track -- what has you lunging for the "next" button?

Here's one to get the ball rolling: "Under Pressure".
    (I've never liked Q*een 8-@)

My least loved songs of Bowie are all on the 'Never let me down' album. What was he thinking?

  • I'm not a big fan of This Is Not America
I love most of his stuff

  • worst bowie track ever has to be

David Bowie is probably my favorite artist ever, but he's released so much shite over the years it would be hard to narrow it down to just one. similarly, it would probably be just as hard to pick a favorite.

Yeah, I agree, Laughing Gnome is fun & 8-line poem is pretty bad.

I can't come up with a worst song, because he's got a lot of lame stuff on his last 6-7 albums but no single song jumps out. So I'd say pre-OUTSIDE, his worst song is probably After All, but his most OVERRATED is probably his remake of China Girl -- or Under Pressure.

  • For me it has to be:
    Try Some, Buy Some
    Boys Keep Swinging
    Ashes To Ashes
    Cracked Actor
    Time

  • Glass Spider = Horrible!

"It is enough when a single note is beautifully played" - Arvo Part
  • John I'm only dancing and Rubber Band

Turn off your mind relax and float down stream. Lay down all thoughts surrender to the void.
  • Sons Of The Silent Age

  • I'd probably say Rebel Rebel, Jean Genie and his late 80's works. Horrible, if you ask me.

someone said yech to Sweet Thing which is my all time fav.

  • I don't like Zeroes

  • Over the Wall We Go, one of his lesser known songs, is pretty horrible. Among the better known ones, I find A Better Future to be really annoying. Day-In Day-Out is also pretty grating. The worst one of them all might very well be Miracle Goodnight, though. There's just something about that synth riff, it sounds like a squeaky toy, and it really gets on my nerves.

  • His cover of Across the Universe. Or maybe his cover of See Emily Play. Most of his covers, really.

I still haven't heard anything he's done between Let's Dance and Outside, though.

  • God Only Knows. The title matches my thoughts on why he did.

Don’t look at the carpet, I drew something awful on it
  • oh there is a lot

But Lady Grinning Soul doesn't do it for me.
