2nd Season announced!

On 05.06.2009 the second season for Darker than Black was announced on the official website and some details as well.

Later Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine has confirmed the title to be DARKER THAN BLACK-流星の双子- (dākā zan burakku -ryūsei no gemini-), which is translated into Darker than Black: Twin (or Gemini) of the Meteor, and the broadcast being started in October 2009.

07/15: According to zizula the Young Gangan issue also says something about the plot: It appears that the story isn't set in Japan anymore. Direktor Tensai Okamura noted : "Nobody knows where they [Hei and Yin] are. Me too." // This is also a hink for the main characters to be Hei and Yin. You also get this impression by just looking at the offcial website :)

Yep, exactly, I wasn't sure if I really want any second season since it can spoil the whole story.
Now I'm eager to see it but it's more of a curiosity :P

So, any opinions so far? Do you enjoy new Hei? I have to admit that It's been a while since I saw something as dainty as his purple jacket that he's currently wearing :D.

The second season is not bad... But the first one is much better, i think.
New Hei is not as cool as old one, but i still believe that everything will be okay ^_^
But, I wonder, what do you think about new Mao?

At first I thought of it as of a total mistake O_O. But everything in this S02 is stranger, less comfortable, more uncertain than in the previous one, so soon after Mao just fit into the whole mood.

And Hei, true, maybe he's not that cool, but I like him better that way. Whoever/whatever he became ("good-for-nothin, violent drunkard" like Suou said), at last he has one, true personality instead of two fake.

Have you watched last episodes? Everything's going to be okay indeed. Maybe except for Suou... poor girl.

Yes, I have. As for me, i think nothing is going to be OK. I think, Hei and Yin will kill each other in the end. And Suou will escape with her mother, Mao and July +)
