In a word CHPA is Crucial Hardcore Punk Archive. As in crucial archive main focus of which is hardcore punk music and related sub-culture infused media.
It is an Internet-based, international project with geographically dispersed group of people working on creating a hardcore punk archive unlike any other you can find out there. What makes us so special and what we're really up to is outlined - in a somewhat official style - in our Mission Statement (yes, in fact we're pretty much serious about all this so we have Mission Statement).
This project is non-profit, by kids for kids and completely DIY.
