Giovedi 28 Maggio 2009 :: ore 13:54 Critical Mass a Roma Parte domani, venerdì, la tre giorni di cicloattivismo «intergalattico». Dalle ore 18, a piazzale Ostiense [Piramide], si festeggerà il compleanno della Critical Mass romana. La giornata si conclude al L.o.a. Acrobax [via della vasca navale, Marconi] per il concerto dei Radici nel cemento e la grande asta di biciclette. Sabato, invece, appuntamento per la Ciemmona vera e propria. La partenza è alle 15 dalle varie ciclofficine, per convergere verso i giardini della Basilica di San Paolo, da dove si parte attorno alle 16. Alle 24, grande Critcal Mass notturna verso il centro. Domenica, appuntamento alle 11 di nuovo a Ostiense per andare al mare. www.ciemmona.org

For dupobs's press release, see http://www.dupobs.ca This festival has a forward-thinking mandate: to promote car-free urban living. In Canada, this is quite radical. Therefore, the artists at the festival should reflect this radicalism. Apparently, festival organizers lack the ability to make this connection. nestpas Critical Mass is the name given to an event that happens monthly around the world where cyclists, skaters, etc take the streets, usually to celebrate or protest and reclaim the streets for the self-propelled commuters! tons of info here http://criticalmass.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page and here http://www.critical-mass.info/ check it out, maybe it's happening in your city too... :)

ceremcem I couln't realize if this is a bicycle related group according to the name of the group... What is the connection between bicycle and Critical Mass? Are we talkin about critical mass bicycles that are about 7 kg? :)
