  • Artist Frederik Schrader - Contemporary Neo Classical Composer & Alternative Grunge Rock Fusion!

Frederik Schrader - Contemporary Neo Classical Composer & Alternative Grunge Rock Fusion!

What!!!??? Ok, I am a classical music purist but keep my ears open for new artists. Frederik Schrader is a lesser known artist who just caught my ear and yanked hard, or soft, or whatever. Check him out some of his original contemporary classical compositions at his artist page Frederik Schrader.

I also recommend looking at the Alternative Rock band he plays in Minorcracy, if you are inclined towards more diverse and eclectic tastes.

I am not a schill for the band or the composer; just came across them recently and enjoy finding new, (to me), lesser known artists. I am thus dubbing his genre as Contemporary Neo Classical Alternative Grunge Rock Fusion. A little bit of a stretch since he clearly stays within the separate genres, but I feel his talent brings both experiences to his composition and performance.

Also check out his Group and alternative Username on the German/Deutsch LastFM.de websites (English Translation) Group: Frederik Schrader and User: FredoWiemken.
    A good find.

Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir (Kreek, Tormis, Sandstrom, Pärt, Rautavaara..)

I can strongly recommend "Baltic Voices" by the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir. Other contemporary classical music artists I've been listening to lately are Tin Hat Trio and Eighth Blackbird.
