For writing a few lines on the music of the Atman & Magic Carpathians, as well as receive warm thanks, I was also sought the friendship of the group with which I have given great pleasure and joy, because every time I listen to their music, my brain goes into a magical vortex of sounds and colors. om ...

(cont) "The female vocals are higher quality than 90% of music recorded today, and meanwhile there is more careful attention to instrumental sonics than you could ever expect in vocally-oriented music.Available information in English on this group is scant, but this new release is apparently a collection of all their recorded music, which dates back to the early 90's. Who knew? It's tempting to declare, "ahead of their time," but that wouldn't be quite right. Instead this band is completely removed from time. This is timeless.A hand numbered limited edition item, in appropriately unique & beautiful handmade packaging. Talk about a gem."

Michael J. Salo wrote in 2005: "Just continuing the description above. I can hardly contain my enthusiasm for this release. I love this music. The best I can try to explain Ksiezyc ("The Moon"), is some blend of the romantic-acoustic-ballad Prikosnovenie school groups such as Fleur, together with the psychedelic experimentalism of the great Polish acts Atman & Magic Carpathians. I'm also getting a Jack or Jive vibe out of this (a Polish Jack or Jive?) Anyone interested in any of the above references should aquire this album without hestitation."

re Księżyc (available on Mutant Sounds.....) "Unique ethereal avant ritual folk with female vocals, not to be missed by anyone interested in music of strange & exquisite beauty.Relesed by Poland's Obuh label".

I'm glad. Hypnoz is similiar to Staruha Mha. Frog Pocket is also worth listening - break/glitch/idm sound with folk accents, The Haxan Cloak - lovely dark sound with noisy/industrial atmosphere. My fav, thrilling skins and ears. High five.

Hey. Thanks for invinting. I'm mainly into ambient/minimal/glitch sounds with big spoon of soundscape- more electronic than isntrumental sounds ,sooo: Grain Space, Kuedo, Bo Becker, Immanitas, Staruha Mha (highly recommended psychedelic (dark) ambient) as well as Heyoka (not ambient, more around 135 bpm), Tholen (space ambient twisting into black hole), John Wiese (noise noise noise noise). I can recommend in infinity, you can rootle in my charts or blog. Reviews are not my good side, perhaps because of my education isn't bounded with music. Now I'm listenig to my newest reveal - Koen Holtkamp. A lot of sounds, also electronic as instrumental being stimulus to your brain. Tags describe this as drone/folk/field recordings/ambient and it's correct; imagine walking with resilient steps in pastel clouds above grey reality. Cheers.
