  • thank you very much for sticking to this utility and making it even easier to scrobble analog stuff. brilliant update.

bummer that musicbrainz does not work from now on. i never used it though.

  • It's like Christmas!

Thanks loads, Ulf! This has gone from useful to indispensable. I hope that restoring Musicbrainz support isn't too far in the future, but I love the new features.

  • Amazing new update, thank you!

  • Timed scrobbles acting strangely

Here, it's 20:45 PST. I selected an album and asked it to scrobble "Starting at: (today) 19:15".
The queue shows the tracks waiting, with scrobble times tomorrow morning, from 12:07AM to 1:14AM.
I've tried this several times and even after restarting I get the same. I just shortly before had scrobbled an earlier-played album and those scrobbles went thru right away, with the expected timestamps.
Is there some oddness because last.fm's servers are in a different timezone? (Or that you are in a different timezone... :))

I'm going to leave these in the queue and leave the computer on to see what happens shortly after midnight.

So, everything scrobbled at the designated times, and with the designated timestamp.

  • Queued items not clearing

Another problem: I had to create a "new recording" because CD I played wasn't listed in Discogs. I typed in the album name and artist at the top, and the song titles first, then went back and entered all the times. Because I'd listened to part of the album in the morning and the other half in the evening, I scrobbled in two parts; first I scrobbled the last six track "finished at... 18:30" and those queued and submitted immediately. Then I selected the first four tracks "finished at 8:45" and those were queued with the correct timestamp, but they sat in the queue for hours.

The one thing odd about this is that the Artist field for tracks #1 and #2 is blank, while it's filled in for #3 and #4. I suspect that's the issue. I cleared those track from the queue, went back to my Local Collection, and entered the Artist individually for those first two tracks, and then rescrobbled the four; all submitted as expected.

Why do I need to do that for some tracks but not others?
