Group for fans of the iconic American composer, Charles Ives.

Charles Ives was one of the first true originals of American classical music. Ives composed unique music that many find distasteful and hard to enjoy; consequently, he was largely unknown as a composer during his life. He ran an insurance business during the day to support his family and composed music at night, leaving little time for sleep and wearing his body out prematurely. He chose to isolate himself from European traditions of music in order to create music that was truly American in origin.
One of my favorite composers and a great musical inspiration to anyone.
Note: I did not see a group for him, if there is one already I will gladly delete this one and join it.
EDIT: I had his death at age 44 - it was actually 74. I fail.
