  • The X-Structure (trip-hop, breakbeat, electronica, experimental)

    The X-Structure is a virtual electronic band from South Africa consisting of 4 wild and adventurous members. They music touches many genres such as trip-hop, breakbeat, bigbeat, cinematic, electronica and many more. They are very experimental in their approach and the musical styles used are more of an expression of an emotion or an experience that encounter.

    Starrzan is the front-man who plays the leads and adds the occasional vocals to the songs. Chacma beats the drums and plays all kinds of interesting and technical percussion. nightowl creates the moods through atmospheric soundscapes. Epic Beard completes the band by playing the bass.

    They have released two album to date, Westcoast Trip and days of night, and one EP titled The Remix Experiment. All their music is freely downloadable from their offical website found at http://thexstructure.com/ .

    The band is in the process of releasing their third album called Earth Epic, which is due early March 2009.
