Caravan really shine with the rest of the other bands who were/are a part of the Canterbury Scene, i suggest to those of you out there who have not checked out other bands who make up the Canterbury scene you do so making a first stop at checking out Daevid Allen, Steve Hillage,-Khan and especially the amazing and best band for me _GONG_

Caravan - the epitomy of English whimsy, wrapped up in wonderfully elaborate chord sequences and haunting melodics ... I love them, and always will!

I was eagerly waiting the remastered version of ''In the Land of Grey and Pink''. Actually I am talking about the special vinyl. But it is a shame that universal vinyl does not have shipping partner in Turkey and they can not do anything about it. I am disappointed. Anyway it does not change that Caravan is one of the best bands in prog rock history.

Having left this Group once, because of the lack of activity, I just had to rejoin when I heard that Caravan are going to appear at the High Voltage Festival in London in July, and at the Cambridge Rock Festival in August. I'm planning to see them at High Voltage - I just hope that Dave and Richard Sinclair and Jimmy Hastings will be there with Pye, and that Richard Coughlan is well enough to attend...

Probably the best band to ever have the tag "progressive rock" applied to them, and it doesn't even begin to describe them. In The Land of Grey & Pink is wonderful. There's no other band that can write such melodic tunes out of such strange chord sequences.
