Am I the only one who misses the old Taste-o-meter?

What do you think about the new Taste-o-meter?

In my opinion, the new one not only looks worse but it is also almost invisible among other elements.

I miss the old Taste-O-Meter, too. The first days of new last.fm I thought they delete it completely, because I didn't realize the new one.

there were three minor details specific to last.fm that I greatly enjoyed. I felt they gave this website much of its unique 'vibe'. all of them are gone/altered now.
1. the quilts. does anyone here remember the "old-school" quilts? with overlapping, unequally-sized pictures? they were so cool. even the later quilts were nice, where the pics were all neatly lined-up. status - gone.
2. the tag clouds, especially in artist pages. they were clean, neat, they gave a general idea of what a band was playing and generated so much... dialogue :)) "OMFG who tagged Opeth as DOOM?? AAARGH". status - exiled on a designated page no one's very likely to visit too often.
3. of course, the taste-o-meter here in question. a late addition, it was not a "critical" feature but a very cool one however, greatly improving the user experience. status - redesigned to integrate this crappy new layout. yuck.
