I'm probably going to be really inappropriate here, but I really dig Hayseed Dixie. xD

DOC W, and GUY CLARK my two recent addictions, but 1990 to 2003 BOB D LIVE as good as it will ever get ! Any pickers in Easr Anglia would like to join/form a "Jam Club" ? Venue a village hall close to a pub/eatery that would be central to all participants. Got to travel a bit in this game - its not cribbage ! Beginners to experts. - doesn't matter if we're all in the same Key ! E-mail me if you're interested - Genuine, and could be good .......

We've placed our newest cd, "Heartache and Stone," on LastFM. It's our 9th and we're quite pleased with it. Here's hoping the bluegrass fans here at LastFM can take a listen. http://www.last.fm/music/Monroe+Crossing/Heartache+and+Stone

BIG bluegrass fan. If you haven't yet, check out the North Carolina bands, especially The Steep Canyon Rangers and Chatham County Line.

I went to a Bluegrass jam with no musical talent and nothing to pluck. And was welcomed regardless. Lovely, the warmth of Bluegrass.

To any bluegrass pickers and singers who are recording live or in the studio, if you would like some expert advice from a mandolin player and audio mastering engineer, please give me a shout.
