  well, to be honest... Behemoth have done some awesome stuff like "Satanica" or "Demigod"(which is not really black metal). I don't like slayer at all, they just suck. Dimmu did some good songs, but not many... metallica? yyy... tolerating first four albums, nothin more.

  DrowningInFilth: i should ofcorse have said "better in my opinion" (since taste is indeed very subjective) or possibly "slayer are less bad then the other 3 in my opinion", as for metallica they put me off form trying more metal ....for a long long long time (the horror known as the black album had it's break into the mainstream, and i think it was the first metal album i heard), so maybe some ppl dont like metal because of bands like metallica? sure ther first 4 cds are acceptable, but why should one bother with listning to them when thers better thrash metal to listen to?
