Bayside show review - Columbus, OH

  • Bayside show review - Columbus, OH

Hey, I got to see Bayside on the first show of the tour and wanted to tell you it was amazing. My friend is best friends with the guys in Punchline (who are also on the tour) so we got to hang out backstage with the bands and watch the show from the side of the stage. It was sold out, Anthony and Jack were totally on point, and their new drummer Gavin was impressive...I could go on forever but I dont think people read this stuff...here's the track list:

    - Blame It On Bad Luck
    - Tortures Of The Dammned
    - Montauk
    - Phone Calls From Poland
    - Kellum
    - Existing In A Crisis
    - Guardrail
    - Poison In My Veins
    - Devotion And Desire
    - They Looked Like Strong Hands
    - Masterpiece
    - ENCORE: How To Fix Everything

All fixed. They are coming to Oklahoma I think next week with the Smoking Popes, gonna do my best to make it there. How To Fix Everything is prolly my favorite song of theirs. Thanks for the update.

  • I guess Gavin might NOT be their new drummer as well shouldn't have wrote that...they kept saying he was "filling in" on the tour instead of "new drummer" soo...

  • ahhh i am soo jealous
i want to see Bayside again!
i got to see them in @ the Cleveland House Of Blues in November --
but jack and anthony just did an acoustic set (rip beatz)
but don't get me wrong -- they did a GREAT job

So I made it out to the OKC show 2/23. Venue is on the smaller side, and there was maybe 150 or so people there of which about half left after Bayside played, including myself. I thought the show rocked, had lots of energy, but the vocals weren't as good as the last time I saw them. I'm blaming it on the venue. But good stuff as always.
