Medicine Man (live at Glasnost) was the very first song that I heard by this magnificent band some 20 years ago and it had such an impact on me that made became a fan of BJH immediately. Since we have an awful ban on Western music here in Iran (due to some ridiculous religious factors), I could not get more of their stuff and that was really sad. Then out of the blue I found out that a relative has a 90 minute tape of their live performances (a mixture of their 2 albums "Live" and "Live tapes") and when I received that tape, I was considering myself the most fortunate girl in the whole universe!!! So many years have passed, that ban on Western Music still exists (even worse than before) but now I have almost all of their albums (obtained through different ways) and that's just great. Medicine Man is still one of my fav songs by the BJH and other favorites include Child of the Universe, Mockingbird, Lady Macbeth, Children of the Disappeared, Closed Shop and Sperratus to name but a few.
