Access the Last.fm Desktop Application Beta, find commonly-reported issues and post bugs/questions/feedback.

While it may seem like it's been forever since you've heard any news, we’re pleased to announce that a new Last.fm Desktop Application is ready to beta test!

Download and install the beta using the appropriate links below. Note: You will need to uninstall the old version. The new application was built from the ground-up, introducing an all-new look, with greater stability and enhanced functionality.

Remember that this is a beta, and there are bound to be issues we need your help in identifying. By installing the Last.fm Desktop Application Beta, you understand the risks associated with pre-releases, and are willing to accept these risks.

We hope you love it as much as we do!

Unfortunately, this beta is unavailable for Linux users. We'll update this page when it's ready.

    uninstalled the beta by accident, re-installed production, OMG was it painfull to go back, reinstalling beta as a matter of great urgency :-)

    I have installed it today at my work's PC. It seems to be working fine but the scrobbles are not showing on my page and I am listening to the radio.

    v2.1.18 on Windows 7: Black tooltips, no logs, no auto-removal after banning a track past its scrobble point. Also, i meant House Gone Up in Flames earlier.

    was working fine for a long while. now, after about 20 second into a song program goes "not responding" (in win7 home edition) and none of the buttons in program works although the' song still plays... i was noticing that the "2.1.18" build still has "send crash reports" box greyed out (perhaps it enabled by default?) is there a logfile that we can send in to help developers fix the bugs

    Oeps, sorry for my last comment. Beta is working just fine. Double scrobbles came from CoverSutra.

    Beta asked to check for updates, I said yes and now it isn't scrobbling anymore... I starts counting from 0 to 6, then returns to 0... I have closed and reopened the scrobbler, but it keeps countingo up to six and restarting the time count...[2]
