aside from how stupid this group is, i agree. and if i didn't agree before, those two new ones that were released today (or recently) are pretty much enough for me to be pretty sure that arcade fire is not nearly as good of a band as they could be. any time i listen i can't help but feel like something major is missing.

The irony of saying "if you have a problem keep it to yourself" in regard to a sententious group name and then going and posting messages expatiating upon your contempt for differing opinion is just ridiculous. Disliking a band or idea is completely acceptable, if not necessary in a free thinking world. Simply telling people to be quiet who disagree with you, however, is stupid.

Arcade Fire is so mind-numbing, my god. They're doing nothing that far superior artists (see: My Bloody Valentine, Neil Hannon, A Silver Mt Zion) in the altrock, baroque pop, and post-rock genres haven't already accomplished. Tchah.
