  HI, there, everyone ... 'live in USA, and LOVE all Arabic music! I don't read or speak any Arabic or Persian language (most sadly ... but, then, I can't do foreign languages to save my soul, speaking that is ...), However, ALL of my knowledge gained since a bit after the big one here propelled me onto a now 10-years+ self-directed library-reading-study program concerning all things "Middle East." As I say to my good friends here, (this will NEVER happen because I'm way too, too poor ...), but, IF I could, "give me my Burka (because I am SO outrageous and rebellious, it'd just be safer for me in toto), and let me roam all over the Middle East." So, this is me: 1 Middle East addict!!

  @SeveralPeople: that's because you live in the US, and I guess you are used to Hollywood's movies. Arabic music, as Indian, chinese, etc are far different from our western culture. You are most likely to enjoy a The Mummy soundtrack rather than an arabic ensemble, played with "weird" instruments (as I had previously heard)
