  • I think we could modify this project a bit. Let's do versions of songs by other Apskaft members. Of course, this includes Home-Cooking. No deadline as of yet, because we have other projects in the pipeline.

    I covered another Apskaftian's song a few years ago: Fröken Smilla's Sad spring is a cover of a song by The TDKs. I don't know if that should be included or not. I feel like covering happiness is a warm cat by awaycaboose, but I don't know if it's possible.

    Poorly programmed casiotone style beat, circuit bent speak 'n' spell, bit of processed "accordion" (General MIDI 22), field recording of birds and a cat.

    Pretty sure you've got access to at least a few of those things :D

    I've been sneakily playing around with Ledmotiv från "Innan Öronen Ramlar Av" on and off for about a month now but what I have is more of a...well...abstract cut-up remix than a cover.

    I'd like to point out that nobody would be more thrilled than me if all of the Acousmatics' tracks were sampled, mashed up and used in totally different contexts. I thought of these little tracks not as completed works, but rather as potential building blocks in a sonic evolution process.

    I've been a little too busy lately, plus I had some issues with my back which incapacitated me completely for several days, but I'm still planning to do a cover of "Happiness Is A Warm Cat", and probably some other track as well. We don't have a deadline for this thing yet, or do we?
